IPL 2020: Amitabh Bachchan urges fans to back MS Dhoni as CSK struggle this season

Synopsis

Amitabh Bachchan posted a picture with Dhoni and wrote on his Twitter account to give confidence to the team who was seen struggling in this season in UAE.

The year 2020 is an absolute surprise indeed! Never in the IPL history was Chennai Super Kings (CSK) seen struggling so badly. Unlike the previous seasons, the team has stumbled in the starting matches.

CSK did have a good start where they defeated Mumbai Indians (MI), the defending champions. However, the team couldn't win against Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Delhi Capital (DC) in the recent matches.

This saw an outpouring of restlessness among the fans, who look forward to CSK’s comeback. Fans want Suresh Raina to come back, as CSK is seen struggling significantly with the bat. Moreover, Ambati Rayudu's injury after the first match has also weakened the team’s batting line-up.

Meanwhile, Bollywood megastar, Amitabh Bachchan, who supposedly looks to be a CSK fan, posted a picture along with Dhoni on his Twitter account, captioned, “The silent calm of the cool..”

By this statement, Big B most likely wants to clarify to the fans that Dhoni (captain cool) is currently silent before the team makes its stormy comeback. He intends to infuse hope in the fans and confidence in the team that they can still come back stronger, despite some initial match losses.

However, CSK are still hoping to win their further league matches, as their key batsman, Rayudu, is likely to join them for their fourth match.
