India vs England 2020-21, 1st Test: Did Rohit Sharma mock Harbhajan Singh? (Watch video)

Synopsis

India is taking on England in a tough encounter in the opening Test for the Anthony de Mello Trophy in Chennai. India has tried out six bowling options, as England continued to stay at the top of its game. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma did something unique.

Team India is involved in a gruelling encounter in the Anthony de Mello Trophy's opening Test, against England, at the MA Chidambaram (Chepauk) Stadium in Chennai. On Day 2, England continued its onslaught on the Indian bowlers, as it has scored big in the first innings.

India has moved in with a spin-heavy bowling attack, considering the slow track in Chennai. With three specialist spinners, only a couple have been successful, claiming a couple of wickets each.

Meanwhile, skipper Virat Kohli tried something new, as he handed Rohit Sharma the ball for a couple of overs. Although he failed to provide any breakthroughs, what was unique was his bowling action. Rest assured, it was not a suspect action, but it seemed quite similar to that of veteran Indian off-spinner, Harbhajan Singh.
