Another blast in Bengaluru, two dead and three severely injured

A blast at a cracker transport company in Bengaluru has resulted in two deaths and three severe injuries. Due to the blast, about 10 vehicles were also damaged. The police also have deployed a dog squad as well as FSL team for further investigation.

The Bengaluru city's west zone was shaken due to a blast that left two dead and three severely injured.

As per DCP Harish Pande this place is a cracker transport company and the reason for the blast is yet to be ascertained.

The incident happened near Rayan Circle in Chamarajpet area.The blast sound could be heard in a 100-meter radius.

The DCP said that the owner has been identified and will soon be detained.

One of the injured is identified as Aslam who owns a puncture shop at the blast site.

The blast was reported at 12.05 pm.

FSL team and dog squad have been deployed for further probe.

As per information, the crackers are intact and suspect the blast could be either due to compressor and gas cylinder blast. One of the victim's body was blown into pieces.

MLA BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan said two injured have been admitted to Victoria Hospital and said one more person has been identified as Manohar and more details will be known from police.

He said from his side he will give Rs 2 lakh to victims and also take up the responsibility to foot the bill on those who are injured.

Due to the nature of the blast, even intelligence officials arrived to investigate the blast.
