Premam title track 'Malare' crosses one crore views on YouTube

It is rare for a song to remain popular a year after its release. 'Malare' is sung by Vijay Yesudas and is composed by Murugesan. The lyrics credits go to Shabareesh Varma. 

The movie did wonders for lead actor Sai Pallavi as well, who became an overnight heartthrob with the release of the movie. She has bagged a number of roles, courtesy of her Malar character in Premam.

The movie is currently being remade in Tamil as ‘Manju’.
