4 ways a nice guy can rock the bad boy vibe

 

 

There’s something irresistible about being with a bad boy, and of course being a bad boy for guys. It's been most women's fantasy at one point or another.  In Bollywood, you have the Salman Khans and Sanjay Dutts who are the quintessential poster boys for badness. In Hollywood, you have the Charlie Sheens, and Johnny Depps among others.    

 

While we are not advocating breaking laws like the above-mentioned celebrities, here’s how you can rock the bad boy vibe, especially when you are a down-to-earth friendly nice guy. Added bonus: You can finally move out of the dreaded friend zone. What's not to love, eh?


1. Captain Cocky Cool
 

One of the biggest arsenals in a bad boy’s ammo – is their cocksure confidence. It’s this cocksureness coupled with an inherent charisma that sets them apart from the rest. Smart, sassy and being a playful tease is what will set you apart from your competitors.  Of course, it goes without saying that there’s a thin line where this cocksure confidence (good) moves into the complete jerk and douchebag territory (a complete no-no), so tread carefully. 
 

 

2. Go-getter Gerry 
 

Typically,  when a bad boy wants something, he just goes for it.  In his mind, he is entitled to get whatever he desires and everything and anyone else be damned.  The concept of rejection does not exist to them, much less even cross their mind. If in the off-chance, they do not get what they want, they simply dust it off their shoulders, consider it to be a minor bump in the road, and simply move on without dwelling on it.

3. Mysterious Matthew
 

There’s something alluring about a guy who’s mysterious with just the right amount of aloofness – the one who gives away just enough of himself, and yet leaves you wanting for more. There’s this hint of darkness that’s rather seductive, which makes it an attractive quality to have.  So, nice guys, if you tend to be a bit of a Chatty Cathy and follow her around like a puppy (and later wonder why it didn’t work out), then you might just need to dial it down by several notches by becoming indifferent. Adopt the less is more mantra.
 

 

4. Unpredictable Uddham   

 

Variety is the spice of life, they say, and it’s safe to say, that’s pretty much what drives bad boys. The thought of being staid, predictable and boring gives them the heebie-jeebies. With him, it’s his way or the highway. So, jump on that devil-may-care attitude bandwagon, and call the shots like the pro you were meant to be, but don't forget Rule Number 1.
