Here are the legal options that will get Dileep his bail
- Dileep's lawyer Raman Pillai said that they have started preparations to file bail petition
- This time, situations are somewhat in favour of the actor and he is likely to get a positive reply from court
- However, the actor will have to wait for a few more days, even if court decides to grant him bail
Reports are that Dileep will approach High Court, the second time, seeking bail on August 10. The actor has been in jail for past 30 days, and the trial court extended his remand period till August 22, on Tuesday.

A junior lawyer of Dileep's new counsel B Raman Pillai met the actor at the jail at Aluva Sub jail. The attorney's office has informed that they have started preparations for submitting a new bail petition.
Dileep had earlier approached High Court seeking bail, but his plea was rejected, and following this, he had changed his lawyer. The court had agreed to the arguments raised by prosecution while denying the request of the actor.
However, this time the situations have changed a little bit. Appunni, the manager, who was missing since the arrest of Dileep, appeared before police. Police also questioned Pulsar Suni's lawyer Pratheesh Chacko and his junior Raju Joseph, to whom Suni had allegedly given the mobile phone and memory card. The lawyer's told police that they destroyed both pieces of evidence.
It is at this point that the accused is planning to approach court once more.
Another point that his counsel is likely to raise is that the producers, who had invested crores believing the actor, are in a fix after his arrest. It is also affecting the lives of several other technicians who are associated with Malayalam film industry. Hence, the advocate might ask the court to allow the actor to get out on bail and complete the projects that he had committed earlier.
The police have not raised any new charges against the actor. The cops have almost completed their investigation and are gearing up to file the chargesheet. Further, there is no other criminal case against the actor and he is not likely to abscond. Hence, there is more chance for Dileep to get out of jail this time.
However, even if his prosecutor submit a bail application on August 9, and court makes a favourable decision, the actor will walk out of jail only by next week owing to procedural factors.
Meanwhile, the prosecution will certainly raise objections citing the high influence of the accused and chances to tamper evidence and to influence witnesses. Further, the actor, who was named 11th accused in the case, has become the second accused now. This shows that his role in the crime is much more serious and that the police got more evidence to prove his involvement.
The only chance under which the actor is likely to continue in jail is if the investigating officials have collected stronger evidence against the actor and are able to convince the court that Dileep should continue in remand till the additional chargesheet is filed.
