A video of a group of men who jumped into a lake in Australia to rescue a kangaroo has emerged on social media.

Many times, animals in danger expect a helping hand from individuals. One such incident from Australia's capital, Canberra, has emerged on social media. The viral video starts with a kangaroo stranded in a lake. However, a group of three good samaritans came to its rescue and shifted it out from the cold lake. David Boyd posted this video on the Facebook group of Canberra Notice Board Group.

In the video, a kangaroo is stuck near the shore of a lake. Watching it, three men hurried to help the animal. Towards the end, they, fortunately, shift the kangaroo to safety.

After being posted online, the video has garnered over 3,400 reactions. Netizens couldn't stop showering praises on the group to the people who saved the kangaroo. Watch the video.
