Woodpecker fights with a snake to save its babies, video goes viral

A mother's love can defeat anything. To guard her babies, a mother can go to any extent. A viral video on Twitter where a woodpecker is seen fighting a snake to save her babies explains the same.

The video has been shared by Susanta Nanda Nanda, Indian Forest Officer (IFS),  on his Twitter handle.

The 27-second-long video starts with a woodpecker attacking something in its nest, after which a huge snake comes out. The snake and the woodpecker get into a fight and the snake manages to get hold of the bird twice during the fight.

Even after the close battle with death, the woodpecker never gives up and keeps going back to fight and save its children. Watch the video.
