New Yorkers take out cars to appreciate Indian doctor with spectacular parade

People paraded in vehicles in New York to pay tribute to an Indian doctor for taking care of coronavirus patients in the country. The video of the parade has gone viral on social media

Doctors and healthcare workers have been risking their lives and sacrificing their time to take care of the coronavirus patients in the world.

There are many videos that have gone viral on social media, wherein people are seen paying tribute to frontline warriors, but it is a great feeling when the appreciation comes in the form of a parade. All this, for a single doctor.

In a video, appreciation and praise for an Indian doctor from Karnataka's Bengaluru by the people of New York came in the form of a parade of vehicles in front of the doctor's house.

People showed their appreciation in front of the residence of Dr Pinchi Srinivasan, MD, MBA, FAAP.

Dr Pinchi Srinivasan completed MBBS from MR Medical College Gulbarga (Karnataka) and MD from Bangalore Medical College. He works in New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital South Nassau and is Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, Weill Cornell Medicine, New York.
