Jamaican sprinter Hansle finds volunteer who helped him reach the right venue, shows her Gold medal
The Tokyo Olympics has had much success, and an inspiring story has one more heart-touching story as an athlete who would have missed a gold medal by landing at the wrong venue was helped by a volunteer.
The women volunteer gave the athlete some money and booked a taxi for the right venue.
Upon reaching the venue on time, the sportsman had enough time to warm up, as he also crossed the finishing line in 200 meters in the final to win the gold medal. He is Jamaica's, Hansle Parchment.
The sprinter's displayed a good gesture by tracking the volunteer and showing her his gold medal. He returned the money he took from her for a taxi and gave her a T-shirt as a gift.
The athlete's idea of making the video on this thanks-giving moment has become viral social media content.
