A video of a girl recording her parents' reaction after she tricked them with her acceptance letter into a prestigious optometry school is making rounds on social media for all the good reasons.

A video of a girl recording her parents' reaction after she tricked them with her acceptance letter into a prestigious optometry school is going viral.

The 22-year-old girl, Gurjiv Kaur from California, tricked her parents with her acceptance letter into Rosenberg School of Optometry at the University of The Incarnate Word (UIW) in San Antonio, Texas.

Her parents' reaction to the letter was priceless, and her excited father read out the letter in joy and even stressed the comma after his daughter’s name leaving the internet in splits.

Since then, Gurjiv changed her Twitter name to Gurjiv comma!

Gurjiv shared the video with a caption, “So I told my parents we were making a video for extra credit but what they actually read was my first acceptance into optometry school (sic).”

The video went massively viral and garnered more than 9 million views, and people showered love to the family and congratulated Gurjiv for her achievement.
