Driverless car in Tamil Nadu baffles netizens; video of Fiat goes viral

A video of a car in Tamil Nadu travelling on the road without a driver has gone viral on social media.

Several brands might be in the process of developing self-driving cars. However, the technology has not yet reached India. So it is no wonder that this clip from Tamil Nadu, which shows a vehicle moving smoothly without a driver, has left netizens baffled.

This video shared on Facebook by Tagore Cherry has left social media in an utter state of shock as it shows a car travelling on the road with no driver inside.

So, who was driving the car? An older adult, with a face-mask on, was seen in the passenger seat. Few netizens offered a solution to the mystery, saying that the man must have been driving a car with a two-way pedal system. Such cars with pedals on both sides are used by driving schools, allowing the teacher to control the vehicle. What do you think?
