Independence Day 2020: A Few Forgotten Women Freedom Fighters of India

India’s freedom struggle is incomplete without celebrating the women who participated in the movement to end the British Raj. The likes of Rani Laxmibai, Bhikaji Cama, Savitri Bai Phule, Sarojini Naidu, Kasturba Gandhi, Aruna Asaf Ali, Captain Laxmi Sehgal, Usha Mehta and Sucheta Kriplani continue to inspire generations.
