BSF detects tunnel along India-Pak border in Jammu

The Border Security Force on Saturday detected a tunnel and 8-10 sandbags with Karachi, Pakistan, marking just beneath the India-Pakistan international border fence in Jammu's Samba sector. Major search operation was immediately launched to look for other such hidden structures that aid infiltration.

BSF officials said the tunnel, which is 20-feet-long and 3-4 feet in diameter, starts in Pakistan along the border and ends in Samba. Officials added that without the concurrence & approval of Pakistani Rangers & other agencies, such a big tunnel cannot be built.
