It has been a year since the Galwan Valley clash between the Indian Army and Chinese PLA personnel. On June 16, 2020, Colonel Santosh Babu and his soldiers may have achieved a whole lot more than just stopping Beijing's expansionist aspirations.

In an exclusive interview to Asianet Newsable's Sunita Iyer, Lt. Gen. Subrata Saha (Retd), Former Deputy Chief of Army Staff and Former Member National Security Advisory Board, says India's reaction at the Galwan Valley last year took the Chinese PLA by surprise. He goes on to add that what may seem like an incident in Galwan, is actually part of a much larger design and political ambition of China & its leadership.

Lt. Gen. Subrata Saha also talks about the Tibet factor, lessons learnt from the Galwan Valley clash and more. Watch this video for the entire interview.
