Karnataka's Sindhanur residents worship Abbas Ali, call him 'Walking God'

Residents of Sindhanur in Raichur district, Karnataka, consider Abbas Ali Thatha as a living, walking God. He lives in Gonavara village in Raichur and meets his devotees every Thursday and on the day of full moon. He has been organising free meals for his devotees on these days for 21 years now. Every year during Muharram, special puja is organised where lakhs of people travel to Gonvar from various places of Karnataka to pay a visit to the holy place and seek blessings of the living God Abbas Ali.
