Bengaluru: ‘Wall of Kindness’ brings opportunity for citizens to contribute to people in need

The initiative, though new to Bengaluru, has been in existence in Mysuru for two years, according to Rajajainagar MLA, Suresh Kumar

Bengaluru: ‘Wall of Kindness’, a Rotary Club initiative in Basaveshwara nagar, is providing opportunity for citizens to donate materials that they no longer use to people in need. The materials can be clothes, footwear, stationery, kitchenware or anything that will be of use to someone else.

“What makes me happy is that this initiative has completed eight days and is running successfully. But my request to the donors is not to bring any damaged items,” Rajajinagar MLA, Suresh Kumar, said.

The wall erected on the roadside in Bengaluru has several racks in which the donors can keep their contributions. Anyone in need can just go and pick up the materials that they find necessary.
