Karnataka Elections 2018: Rumours were abuzz that CM Siddaramaiah would contest from 2 seats - Chamundeshwari and Badami. However, Congress list released on April 15 revealed that Siddu wouldn't be contesting from Badami. While the ticket was given to Devaraj Patil, supporters of Chimmanakatti were upset that he was denied ticket. The supporters expressed their disappointment by shouting slogans and setting the tyres ablaze in the middle of the night. They also said that they would be submitting a memorandum to the CM requesting Siddaramaiah to offer a ticket to their leader.
