Teens may meet same fate as Gauri Lankesh: Andola Swamiji on threat to people speaking against PM Modi, Shah

Within days of stoking controversy, Siddalinga Swami, the working president of Sri Rama Sene, made another controversial statement. He said that those who speak ill of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah may meet the same fate as that of Gauri Lankesh.

 


Bengaluru: Sri Siddalinga Swamiji of Andola Karuneshwara Math has made a controversial statement while speaking in a religious conference. He said that those who speak ill about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah may meet the same fate as that of Gauri Lankesh.

He stated that young children who have not even crossed 14 or 15 years of age speaking about Modi and Shah might meet the same fate of murdered journalist Gauri Lankesh.  Gauri Lankesh was shot dead at the doorstep of her residence in Ideal Homes Layout in Rajarajeshwari Nagar on the night of September 5, 2017.

Days ago, he made another controversial statement wherein he said, one should not follow Gandhi's principle of showing the cheek to the oppressor. He said “the one who divided the country and spoiled the nation is known as the father of the nation and is called 'Mahatma”.
