Sandalwood actress Roopa Iyer feeds monkey as part of Ugadi celebration

When the whole nation is under complete lockdown due to coronavirus fears, Sandalwood actress Roopa Iyer decided to lift people's spirit with her humanitarian act.
At a time when people are locked up at home, Iyer offered food to a monkey as part of her Ugadi celebration.
Speaking to Asianet Newsable, the actress said "The baby monkey was taken care of from the beginning as it's mother died after giving birth. The monkey was lying near my house I was feeding and taking care for a few weeks. Now, it comes regularly to my balcony. We give the monkey food and water.”
