The BJP leader said the reports of a rift between him and BS Yediyurappa, change of chief minister, are only rumours.

Hours after resignation from the Tourism and Kannada and Culture Department post, BJP leader CT Ravi spoke exclusively to Asianet Newsable and said he is not upset, contrary to what has been reported recently.

He also clarified on the subject of change in leadership in Karnataka with regard to the CM’s post and the replacement of BS Yediyurappa.

The BJP leader said, it is only rumours and there is no proof of such claims.

It is the BJP parliamentary board that decided to make BS Yediyurappa as CM and only the board can decide on posts as it is supreme, said Ravi.

He also said, from PM Modi to BS Yediyurappa to others, many leaders have been able to reach great heights only due to the inbuilt system in the BJP.
