Kerala: Anticipatory bail plea of Bhagyalakshmi and two others rejected in YouTuber attack case

The prosecution said that granting anticipatory bail will give the wrong impression and motivate people to take laws into their hands.

Kochi: Thiruvananthapuram district court rejected the bail plea of dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi and two others for allegedly attacking a YouTuber. The court also rejected bail of Diya Sana and Sreelakshmi Arakkal who manhandled YouTuber Vijay P Nair, for posting videos.

The court criticised Bhagyalakshmi and two others. It said that law cannot be handled by physical strength. The cases booked against them include charges for manhandling and robbery which can lead to imprisonment of up to 5 years.
