Karnataka lockdown: Migrant workers, students, employees rush to bus stands to head back home
Bengaluru: As Karnataka lockdown will come into effect from 9 pm today, passengers were seen heading to different bus stations to head back to their respective hometowns.
Migrant workers, students and employees in Bengaluru rushed to Majestic bus stand to catch intra-state buses mostly plying to northern Karnataka, Coastal, and Hyderabad-Karnataka.
At Shanthi Nagar bus terminal, inter-state buses mostly heading to Tamil Nadu and Kerala were plying.
Some of the passengers complained that, due to lockdown and non-availability of buses from point to point is putting them at inconvenience.
A person said he has to head to Vellore but the buses are heading only to Chennai or Salem and from there he has to take another bus.
