Karnataka: 80-year-old man killed in wall collapse as heavy rains lash Mysuru

Mysuru: Heavy rains in parts of Karnataka have resulted in the death of one person and caused damage to properties. In Mysuru’s HD Kote taluk, an 80-year-old man named Shivnanjaiah, a resident of Madhapura village, was killed. He died after his house’s wall collapsed following heavy rains from the last few days. Meanwhile, in Kodagu, hundreds lost their homes due to heavy rains. Now, many fear another landslide like in 2018.
