Jodhpur Police bust child kidnapping case within two hours

A two-year-old child was rescued within two hours from an unknown place where the kidnapper had abandoned him in Jodhpur
 

Jodhpur: Efforts of Chopasni Police were hailed as they solved a child kidnapping case within two hours. The police managed to rescue a two-year-old abducted boy in Jodhpur from a young man. The abductor kidnapping the child was recorded on the CCTV camera installed in the area. The accused was identified as an alcoholic named Ganpat, who resides in 21-sector slum in Jodhpur. Revathi, who lives in a slum near Anandaram school, started panicking when she could not find her child in the house or in the surroundings. After her efforts went in vain, she lodged a complaint at the Chopasni police station. Revathi was putting one of her children to sleep in the hut, during which her 2-year-old innocent child was playing outside. Ganpat, who was closely monitoring this, abducted the child when no one noticed him. He also lured the child with a toffee. During search operations, the police spotted Ganpat taking the child with him in the CCTV footage. The cops not only busted the kidnapping case within two hours and nabbed the accused, but also celebrated the child’s birthday along with an officer at the police station as they share the same birthday.
