Jodhpur man misbehaves with coronavirus health worker during door-to-door survey

At a time when doctors and nurses are shown relentlessly doing their bit to fight the COVID-19 outbreak, a health worker was abused by people in Jodhpur

A health worker from Jodhpur, while engaging in a door-to-door survey for coronavirus, became a victim of physical abuse. According to sources, the incident occurred in Jodhpur's Maderna colony. The victim was appointed to cross-check and report information to the officials about coronavirus in the village. As the health worker started enquiring among people in the village, an outsider came and questioned the health worker. Later on, the health worker was verbally abused and then physically. It is also to be noted that no one from the village came to rescue him. Then the health worker had to call up the police for help. Soon, police rushed to the spot and arrested the accused and a case was registered against him.
