An Indian origin gay couple married in traditional Kodagu style in California. However, posts of the wedding have been receiving a few negative reactions.
Sharath Ponappa and Sandeep Doosanje are a same sex couple who was in relationship from some time.
The wedding took place in traditional Kodagu style, with traditional Kodagu style attire and valga, music that symbolises Kodagu style weddings.
However, some Kodagu elders are now upset with the wedding as the couple wore traditional dresses which have “high respect and value”.
