Hubballi's KIMS hospital apathy: Absence of stretchers forces family to carry sick child in their arms

Hubballi: An expose has left KIMS Hospital in Hubballi, Karnataka, in an embarassing state. The hospital failed to provide a stretcher to move a sick child into a ward even as a nurse was seen pulling an oxygen cylinder while the parents carried the child in their arms.

A video portraying the incident surfaced on Friday and this has created a lot of furore among residents against the hospital.

Despite such apathy being exposed time and again, the hospital administration has failed to take up any action and showed lackadaisical attitude.
