Haryana minister on Delhi violence: Riots are routine, part of life

Chandigarh: Haryana minister Ranjit Chautala on February 27 said that riots are routine and are part of life. He said, “Riots keep taking place. They have been taking place earlier also. When Indira Gandhi was assassinated, the entire Delhi was burning. This is part of life, keeps happening.” The violence that broke out in North-East district of Delhi claimed 34 lives leaving hundreds of people injured. Efforts of peace restoration are being made by Delhi police and security forces.
