Delhi violence: Special Police chief takes to streets to assesses situation

Delhi Special Commissioner of Police, SN Srivastava, took stock of the situation in Northeast Delhi, where violent clashes erupted between pro and anti-CAA groups and claimed at least 27 lives till now

 

New Delhi:  The national capital has been witnessing escalating violence since Sunday after clashed broke out between pro and anti-CAA groups. Delhi Special Commissioner of Police, SN Srivastava, took to the streets of Delhi to assess the situation in Northeast Delhi that has been witnessing violence. At least 27 lives until now. Security forces have been deployed at various locations in the area. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval also inspected the affected areas and took stock of the situation. Doval also engaged with the locals and assured them of adequate security to eliminate all fear from the respective community members.
