Delhi violence: Injured protester forced to sing National Anthem while lying on ground

The clashes between pro and anti-CAA has so far claimed many lives including a policeman. A new video of an injured person lying on the road being forced to sing the National Anthem and being filmed allegedly by police is doing the rounds causing more upset

A video in which cops have purportedly forced a wounded person to sing the national anthem and are filming the same is doing the rounds.

 

Apart from this, police personnel are seen beating injured persons with canes while another injured person screams 'Azadi'.

 

Following this incident, netizens, political parties and activists are flooding social media with their comments. While few condemned the action of the cops, there were few who expressed horror.

 

In the video, the injured protester who is singing the national anthem seems exhausted and looks like he fears for his life. His pants seem wet, indicating that he may have urinated.

The most affected area is North East Delhi where stone-pelting was reported in Maujpur and Brahmpuri.

 Despite the violence, a sit-in protest over the Citizenship Amendment Law in the Jafrabad-Seelampur area from the past six weeks continues. The agitators are pitching for peace and calm.
