Delhi elections 2020: Bridegroom says marriage can happen later, but not voting

 A groom in Delhi reached the polling booth to cast his vote before marriage. He said to media that voting is extremely important and it can't happen later, but marriage can.
 


New Delhi: A groom, just before his marriage, reached the polling booth at MCD primary school in New Delhi’s Shakarpur to cast his vote. The groom said, “Voting is extremely important. Marriage can happen later, and voting can’t.” His family also accompanied him. Voting for 70 Assembly constituencies is underway in the national capital on February 8. The counting of votes will take place on February 11.
