COVID-19: Health staff suspended for negligence while screening passengers at railway station

Meta Amidst coronavirus outbreak when the entire country is petrified and making efforts to contain the spread, a health staff at a railway station in Tumakuru, Karnataka, was captured on video talking on the phone and ignoring his responsibility of screening passengers. As the video went viral, the staff is now suspended.

Tumakuru: Karnataka's health worker shamed India and PM Modi by displaying utter carelesssness whioe screening railway passengers for COVID-19 virus.

The incident happened on March 20 at Tumakuru City Railway Station, Karnataka.

 

The health staff is identified as Narasimhamoorthy and he is now suspended for dereliction of duty.

 

The health staff, in charge of thermal scanning, was busy on the phone and was allowing many passengers to jump the screening.

 

After a passenger filmed the lazy act, district health officer Dr Chandrika ordered the immediate suspension of Narasimhamoorthy.
