Coronavirus outbreak: Pakistani family trapped in India seeks help

A Pakistani family, including a 12-year-old child, is trapped in India due to coronavirus. The family had travelled to India for the heart operation of the minor.
 


Karachi: A Pakistani family with a 12-year-old child is trapped in India due to the coronavirus fear that has gripped the world. The family reached India on February 18 for the 12-year-old’s heart surgery. Due to coronavirus, officials at the Attari-Wagah Border refused entry to the family to return home.

The Pakistani family of four are presently in India. The child underwent a successful CCTGA operation, conducted by Dr Rajesh Sharma. As the child needs more care, the family decided to return to their hometown, but were unable to do so as many nations are fighting the coronavirus and there have been restrictions on travel
