Coronavirus: 277 Indian passengers arrive from Iran in Jodhpur airport

As many as 277 evacuees from Iran arrived at Jodhpur Airport early on Wednesday amid coronavirus alert.

A preliminary screening was conducted at the Jodhpur Airport upon arrival of the passengers and they were taken to Jodhpur Military Station


Jodhpur: Mahan Air flight landed in India's Jodhpur with a total of 277 passengers, including five children and an infant. The passengers - 273 pilgrims and 4 non-pilgrims - embarked on Mahan Air flight W5071 from Tehran to Delhi; they were then taken to Jodhpur for being quarantined amid coronavirus lockdown. There are 149 females and 128 males.

A preliminary screening was conducted at the Jodhpur Airport upon arrival of the passengers and thereafter the evacuees were shifted to the Army Wellness Facility established in Jodhpur Military Station.
