Amritsar Police raid spa and massage centres; arrest 12 girls, 13 boys

Amritsar: Punjab's Amritsar Police raided three massage centres in the civil line area and arrested 12 girls and 13 boys. It is reported that the police received information about an illegal massage centre operating in the city. After forming a special team, the police raided the spot.
The arrested women are mostly from Thailand. The spa owner reportedly escaped from the spot as they came to know that a raid was about to be conducted. It is alleged that human trafficking was operational in the spa.
