Paying his tributes to the patriot monk of India, Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary (January 12), Subramanian Swamy, the BJP Rajya Sabha MP urged youth to imbibe traits and tenets like courage and selflessness from him. 

Bengaluru: BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy was in Bengaluru on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, which also coincides with National Youth Day on January 12. He paid glowing tributes to the monk by garlanding his statue and spoke in length about his contributions to the society.

Swamy urged the youth to imbibe traits such as courage and fearlessness and also underlined the need to formalise Vivekananda’s teachings into our education system.
