55% of youngsters suffer from heart disease: Study
A study by Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research has indicated that out of 2,400 patients who suffered heart attacks in the last two years 55% of them were aged below 35. In many cases, the patients did not show symptoms like chest pain or discomfort while walking.
With an average of 100 patients rushed to the hospital every day for a heart attack, the Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Science and Research has come out with a startling revelation. Out of 2,400 patients in last two years, a whopping 55% are in the age group of 25 to 35 years.
