Deadly Floods Ravage Germany, Other Parts Of Western Europe

More than 90 people dead and dozens of others missing in Germany, Belgium & other parts of Western Europe as torrential rains trigger flash floods in the region, turning streets into rivers & causing catastrophic damage.

Hundreds of soldiers and thousands of relief workers help police with rescue efforts. The floods have caused Germany's worst mass loss of life in years. Chancellor Angela Merkel expressed her dismay and vowed to help the affected communities rebuild. Pope Francis also extended his condolences to the victims and their families.
