Ganja oil worth Rs 1 crore leaves Karnataka Police baffled; two Kerala youth arrested

Bengaluru Police have arrested two Kerala youths for trying to dispose of ganja oil worth one crore from Suddagunta Palaya Police limits. It is said the youths travelled to Odisha to procure ganja and make oil from the same in Bengaluru, targeting students from top colleges.
 

Police in the South East Division attached to Bengaluru Commissionerate was baffled following the arrest of a Kerala duo who were in the city to dispose of drugs. The youths identified as Joy Joseph (45) and Amarnath alias Jayan (22) were in possession of ganja oil worth Rs 1 crore.

Police say, due to the increase in demand from students in Bengaluru's top colleges in and around Koramangala, the duo procured ganja from Odisha and soaked it in white petrol before burning and extracting the oil from the same. A small portion of the oil measuring few millilitres costs Rs 5,000.

Apart from 1 litre ganja oil, 3.5 mg of MDMA, 2 kilograms of ganja and a car worth Rs 6 lakh were seized.
