My mother gave birth to me, but a Muslim is responsible for my second life: Karnataka cop Anusha

When some are shifting the blame on Muslims and targeting them for spreading coronavirus, Dharwad's assistant commissioner of police Anusha in Karanataka stands by them. She said that those trying to disrupt peace by spreading hatred, will be arrested.

Dharwad: Recalling how she was saved when everything was shut during communal riots in 2002 after Godhra incident in Gujarat, newly-appointed Dharwad assistant commissioner of police (ACP) Anusha in Karantaka said that a Muslim doctor treated and saved her.

Addressing the section of Muslim community leaders in her limits, the ACP said, there are people who spread hatred and divide community and disrupt peace, but she will not allow this to happen in Dharwad. Anusha promised to take action against those who make TikTok videos, WhatsApp messages targeting Muslims, associating them with coronavirus or branding them as terrorists.

After this video surfaced on social media, the officer is being praised by people from all the sections of the society.
