Kannada actress Sharmiela Mandre defied lockdown order, found in car with pub owner

Kannada actress Sharmiela Mandre's car was found damaged under the railway bridge in High Ground Police limits in Bengaluru on Friday night. The actress seems to have violated coronavirus lockdown rules.

Bengaluru: Kannada actress Sharmiela Mandre was reportedly found in posh car with a pub owner after having defied lockdown rules imposed in a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus. The incident came to light after a Jaguar car was found smashed under the railway bride in Bengaluru.

The actress and her friend Lokesh sustained injuries. While Lokesh broke his hand, Mandre is said to have sustained injuries on her face. Both were undergoing treatment at a private hospital on Cunningham Road.

The High Grounds Police have registered a case in this regard. And when they reached the hospital to get more information, the actress and her friend vanished fearing arrest as they have violated lockdown rules.

It is said that the incident would have taken place while heading back home after the alleged party. Mandre is said to have lied at the hospital claiming that an accident took place near JP Nagar.

The car allegedly belongs to pub owner Dawn Thomas.
