Coronavirus lockdown: Herds of cows, calves left in the lurch as rakshaks remain indoors

The 21-day coronavirus lockdown has left not just poor migrants in the lurch, but animals and birds too. Earlier, crows in Gadag, Karnataka, were found suffering from hunger, and now herds of cows and calves are found on the streets struggling to find water and food.

The 21-day lockdown to blunt the spread of coronavirus is not only impacting humans, but other living beings too. Like stray dogs, crows, pigeons that are dependent on humans to feed them, cows and calves too are in search of good souls to feed them.

Cows and calves are found roaming on the streets of Gadag in Karnataka. They are starved and parched with no food and water.
