Coronavirus: 41-year-old evacuated from Iran tests positive for COVID-19

Jodhpur has reported another positive coronavirus case after a 41-year-old evacuee from Iran contracted the virus 

An evacuee from Iran, who had landed in Jodhpur on March 25, has tested positive for coronavirus. The 41-year-old man is a resident of Ladakh. He was admitted to the MDH Hospital in Jodhpur with positive symptoms. However, his 72-year-old mother has tested negative.

 

A total of 1,036 Indians have been evacuated from Iran out of which, 552 have been sent to Jodhpur, while 484 are in Jaisalmer in Army Wellness centres.
