A suo moto case was registered at the New Jalpaiguri police station of Siliguri Metropolitan Police against BJP national general secretary and state observer Kailash Vijayvargiya, MP and BJP Yuva Morcha president Tejasvi Surya, state BJP chief Dilip Ghosh on the allegation that they encouraged violence during the party's "Uttarkanya Abhiyan" march in Siliguri on December 7.

TMC MP Soumitra Khan and state BJP president Dilip Ghosh got involved in a clash over the appointment of BJP Yuva Morcha zone based observer posts. The state president of the Youth Front appointed five people as observers of the five organizational zones. However, Dilip Ghosh did not approve the list of names. He told Soumitra Khan that the responsibility of the zones in the youth organization will be decided by the end of December.
 

The Karnataka government on Monday informed the High Court that Bengaluru South MP and the National President of BJP Yuva Morcha Tejasvi Surya was fined for appearing in a public rally without wearing a mask on September 30. The fine was paid on November 7.

Ahead of a protest, BJP Yuva Morcha president Tejasvi Surya released a teaser of the event and appealed to the BJP youth wing to arrive at Nabanna, the state secretariat. The young MP also left a tweet ridiculing Mamata Banarjee government.
