Now Samrajni Dasgupta, the wife of the ex-BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta has written a scathing complaint to the NHRC regarding the conduct of the Mumbai Police.
 

The News Broadcasters Federation has asked the Broadcast Audience Research Council to release the audience measurement ratings in the news genre. In a statement, the NBF also requested the rating agency to take corrective measures for future data. 

The Enforcement Directorate has once again summoned India Today group's Chief Financial Officer Dinesh Bhatia for questioning in connection with the alleged Television Rating Points manipulation case.

Days after the Mumbai Police informed the Bombay High Court that it had more gathered more evidence against Republic TV and its Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami in the TRP manipulation scam, India Today CFO has reportedly been summoned to the Mumbai office of the Enforcement Directorate's Joint Director.

The Mumbai Police has submitted a remand note in a magistrate's court in Mumbai in connection with the fake Television Rating Points scam case in which it accused Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami of paying off senior officials of TV rating agency BARC, including its former CEO Partho Dasgupta, to manipulate the channel's TRP.

Mumbai Police today made more sensational claims in the fake Television Rating Points scam case, alleging that television news channel Times Now was deliberately dislodged from the top of the rankings to favour Republic TV.

Vikas Khanchandani was granted regular bail by Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at the Esplanade court in Mumbai a day after the Republic TV CEO was remanded to 14 days judicial custody. 

A sessions court in Mumbai has pulled up the Mumbai Police for the manner in which it arrested Republic TV Chief Executive Officer Vikas Khanchandani in connection with the TRP scam case a day before his anticipatory bail plea hearing was scheduled.

Republic Media Network Chief Executive Officer Vikas Khanchandani was arrested from his residence by the Mumbai Police on Sunday morning. The arrest came after police conducted an early morning raid at his residence in connection with the TRP scam case.

ARG Outlier, the parent company of Republic TV Network, has filed an application in the Bombay High Court alleging that the Mumbai Police physically tortured Ghanshyam Singh, the channel's assistant vice president for distribution, while in custody in connection with the TRP scam case.

The Enforcement Directorate, which initiated a money laundering probe nearly a fortnight ago into the fake Television Rating Point scam, has reportedly found glaring loopholes in the Mumbai Police investigation.

The Karnataka High Court granted transit bail to Republic TV COO Priya Mukherjee in fake TRP scam case. 

The charge sheet was submitted before a magistrate's court by the police's Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU), which is conducting a probe into the case, an official said.

According to the network, Ghanshyam Singh, who heads Republic Media Network’s Western Region Distribution, has been questioned several times for over 30-40 hours by the Crime Branch unit in the alleged TRP case in the past few weeks and had been fully cooperating with the probe. 

In its petition, Hansa Research Group has leveled serious accusations against the Mumbai Police. The company has claimed that it is being harassed and forced by the Mumbai Police to make false statements against the Republic Media Network.
