Trial Run  

Indian Railways has given a glimpse of the new vistadome tourist coaches, days after it successfully completed the 180 kmph trial run. 

The trial for Kolkata's Dakshineshwar Metro station starts today (December 23). The railway officials and the GM will be present during the trial run. According to sources, the fare of the metro from Kabi Subhash to Dakshineswar will be 30 rupees.

The trial run of the first electric bus of the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation began in the city on Thursday. The electric bus has the capacity to run about 200 to 250 km on a single charge with air-conditioner on, in the traffic conditions.

 As the world looks towards HCNG as it has a lot of benefits concerning emissions, mileage and durability, Delhi will begin the trial run of HCNG powered buses

The trial run of the six-compartment train is likely to begin by second week of January. It will be open for public use within a month after the trial.

KSRTC smart bus will be stationed at the airport. The timings of the bus will be scheduled in accordance with the the flight timings. These buses will ply during the night too. 

The trial run of electric buses and chartered Scania buses are more profitable. KSRTC has submitted a report to the government and the governing body asking to extend this project. 

Talgo train aims to cut the travel time between Delhi and Mumbai to 12 hours will run at 130 kmph on this trial run.
