Last year too, Manas made a 6 milimeter Durga idol with various types of grains. But the work was not accepted by the committee of Guinness Book of World Records because the length of the idol was slightly big. So, to make a name for himself in the Guinness Book of World Records this year, Manas, a spectacle trader by profession, made a 3 milimeter idol of Goddess Durga.

Bengaluru: Goon threatens BBMP marshal for being asked to wear mask
Bengaluru Municipal officials were threatened by a City Market trader for asking him to wear a facemask. Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, the civic agency that is tasked to ensure to manage and bring down the number of COVID-19 cases is witnessing cases of assault and harassment against health officials and BBMP marshals.
In the latest case, a BBMP marshal and a health official deployed at City Market were threatened by Muruga who said he is from the local MLA's camp and used filthy language against officials. No case has been registered so far in this connection
