Sting Operation  

After Suvendu Adhikari joined BJP, the party has removed the Narada sting operation video from its official YouTube channel that showed Adhikari and BJP leader Mukul Roy taking bribes.

The Enforcement Directorate sought property and investment details from Madan Mitra, Prasun Banerjee, and Firhad Hakim in connection with the Narada chit fund scam. The agency has been probing the money laundering aspect of the Narada sting operation, which was conducted in 2014 and aired in 2016.

Three youths were arrested for attempting a sting operation on former West Bengal minister Madan Mitra. Baliganj Police have already started an investigation into the incident on the basis of the former minister’s allegations. The three accused; Ankan Dutt, Sanjay Chakraborty, and Mrinal Mukherjee are all residents of Belgharia.
