West Bengal on Thursday (January 14) reported 680 new COVID-19 cases. According to the state health bulletin, 17 deaths were reported in a single day taking the toll to 10,010.

West Bengal reported 926 new COVID-19 cases taking the toll to 5,59,099 on Friday (January 8). According to the state health bulletin, 21 people died in the state pushing the state’s coronavirus death toll to 9,902.

 West Bengal on Wednesday (December 2) reported a drop in its total of active Covid-19 cases for the 37th consecutive day since the end of Durga Puja as the state logged 3,275 recoveries, 3,271 infections, and 51 deaths. The tally went up to 4,90,070 after 3,271 fresh cases of infection were reported from various parts of the state.

The COVID-19 cases in West Bengal is steadily increasing. According to the State Health Bulletin, the COVID-19 tally in the state rose to 4,80,813 on Sunday (November 29) as 3,367 more people tested positive for the infection.

West Bengal's COVID-19 tally rose to 4,56,361 on Sunday (November 22) as 3,591 more people tested positive for the infection. According to the State Health Bulletin on Sunday (November 22), 49 people died in a single day in the state. However, the state's COVID-19 death toll rose to 8,025.

The number of COVID-19 cases is decreasing in West Bengal. Only 3,012 new COVID-19 cases were reported on Monday (November 16) while 4,376 people recovered from the disease. According to the State Health Bulletin, 53 deaths occurred in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 7,714.

West Bengal on Friday (November 6) reported the recovery of a record 4,283 COVID-19 patients as the recovery rate jumped to 89.25 percent. However, the COVID-19 infection is still prevalent in Kolkata and North 24 Parganas. Kolkata is still ahead of all other districts in terms of infection. According to the State Health Bulletin on Friday, the number of people infected with COVID in Kolkata in a single day was 846 and in Northern 24 Parganas 816.
 

The recovery rate of COVID-19 patients in the state of West Bengal is increasing. However, the death toll has not decreased in the state. Kolkata is still ahead of all other districts in terms of COVID infection.
